HOW CAN REIKI HELP ME?
Reiki treatments are extremely beneficial as a catalyst for physical and emotional healing, especially before and after surgical treatment including during and after childbirth. Reiki can alleviate and remove long term aches and pains repetitive strain injuries, low sex drives, toxic habits, and spinal imbalances. Reiki also works to balance the emotions and will begin removing fear-based and harmful emotions such as jealousy, greed, depression, anger, resentment, and inadequacy. Reiki can enable positive, stabilizing and empowering emotions to permeate your being.
HOW IS REIKI GIVEN?
Reiki is given in person or via a distance. When given in-person, reiki is administered by simply placing the hands on or just above the body. However, occasional light tapping on certain points may be needed to stimulate the flow of energy. When given by way of distance healing, reiki will be channelled to you and a full treatment will be conducted in the same way an in-person session is and the effects are felt just as intensely.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A REIKI TREATMENT?

Clients may experience visuals, shifts in energy and warm sensations on different points throughout the body. By the end of the session, clients can feel relaxed and drowsy but also rejuvenated and supported.
DO I NEED TO PREPARE FOR A REIKI TREATMENT?
The best way to prepare for a reiki session is to come with an open mind and make sure you are not hungry or dehydrated. It is also recommended when attending an in-person treatment to wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing and to bring a pair of socks.
HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?
Although one reiki treatment is enough to experience the benefits of the therapy, several treatments will be needed to effectively restore balance for ongoing physical or emotional issues and deeply traumatizing experiences. A treatment plan will be discussed after your first reiki treatment.
CAN I HAVE REIKI WHILE ON MEDICATION?
Yes, although if you are ever in doubt it is advisable to consult your doctor first for peace of mind. Reiki should never be used as a substitute for medical care or medication but is capable of reinforcing every form of therapy and activates your self-healing powers.
