WHAT IS REIKI?
Reiki is natural energy healing technique that was founded by Dr. Mikao Usui in the 1920's. Reiki is a simple practice that involves the client laying fully clothed on a massage bed and receiving life force energy or chi from the hands of the practitioner. Reiki has been scientifically proven to encourage positive changes both physically and spiritually.
HOW CAN REIKI BENEFIT ME?
Reiki is essentially a stress reduction and relaxation technique that enables the body and mind to enter into a deep meditative state. This enables benefits to be felt on a holistic level. Ultimately reiki works to remove discomfort and disease from the physical and spiritual body. WHAT DOES A REIKI SESSION FEEL LIKE?
A reiki session can be a very subjective experience and can differ from each session. However the most common feedback from clients is often that a reiki session allows them to enter into a deep state of relaxation that feels similar to sleeping but they have a conscious awareness of their surroundings. Some clients experience a warm sensation in certain parts of the body as well as visuals similar to dreams. After the session it is likely that clients will feel noticeable changes take place internally and externally.
